Invalid Double sound (notification)

My Phone:
Xiaomi Mi 9 (cepheus)
Running latest MIUI Beta 20.06.18

I've a new TWS bluetooth headset. Pairing, sound control, voice assistant, everything works fine.

BUT all sounds are played double. For example, when I receive a WhatsApp message, the sound blasts on the phone as well on my headset. Same goes with notifications if I send a message, an e-mail, or receive a notification sound while in app.
But movies and music are only playedon the headset.

Is there some workaround or fix for this bug?

Toggle off: Settings -> Sound & vibration -> Sound assistant -> Allow speaker sound

Hmm.. might wanna contact Xiaomi about that. Sound assistant's features are hardware-dependant, not something we can simply patch.
