New Dynamic refresh rate option doesn't exist?? (POCO X3 Pro)

I wanted to set the phone's refresh rate to 120hz for the smooth experience, so I did that but it quickly drains the battery. I then checked the screen refresh rate using Android inbuilt counter, and according to that it's constantly at 120 hz even when inactive...
From other people's phones I can see that dynamic refresh rate is a thing on the model, and it updates properly on other phone models, so am I missing something or is something broken?

Screenshot? Are you literally missing the option? Though it sounds flawed ..

Maybe Poco phones maybe have a different behaviour, see

Seems fiddly and maybe even semi broken but perhaps then only this model

Doesn't seem a problem with this ROM
