The USB otg adapter work fine, but i need to change IP for use with enet cable with bimmercode to code same BMW.

Simple app to create shortcut for anything you want.
Choose "activities" and search for "ethernet".
Expand the settings app in results and click on desired activity. Click on "try" and if it works u can add to homescreen.....

Hi, i need to use bimmercode with USB otg enet cable , but to use i have to :
"Enable “Static IP“ in the Android Ethernet settings(“Connections“ > “More connection settings“ > “Ethernet“ > “Configure Ethernet device“ > “Static IP“) and make the following entries:
IP Address: 169.254.250.250
Netmask: 255.255.0.0
Default gateway: 0.0.0.0
DNS address: 0.0.0.0"

I found a workaround. Just connect the car to your internet router and keep the phone in Wifi. No setting changes necessary.
Hi, i use a mini router, enet cable connected to a car and router, configuration of my router DHCP range 169.254.1.0 to 169.254.1.200, adpater otg RJ45 connected to router and my phone, assign mac address of my adapter RJ45/otg to IP 169.254.1.1, now work fine.

@ebber: what type of adapter you choose then in the app? enet cable?

I have F11 and car automaticly assign my computer IP in win for ESYS.
I do not understant why not in linux ;(
I tried to make hot spot from my laptop instead of using router (because laptop can work without power cord) but this doesnt work for me.
