I keep getting FC with the new mail app when I take the following steps. (I have a MI2, with 4.5.9)
1. Open mail app;
2. Open unread mails "folder"
3. With more than one unread mail, open the first one;
4. Move to the next one, without going back to the unread list (swipe screen right to left)
5. Move back to previous mail (swipe screen left to right)
App will FC with a null pointer exception since the first mail is no longer "unread" and not in the list.
Apologies if the bug was already submitted, I could not find it.
