Hey,

I just flashed my Redmi 2 Prime TD (2GB/16GB) with the latest developer rom from miui.com. I chose Redmi 2 Prime China "miui_HM2XWCPro_6.5.26_6e93ca300c_5.1.zip", but after flashing and doing a full wipe my device shows Wt88047 but it should show Wt86047 shouldn't it? Is there a new WCDMA version with 2GB/16GB? I bought mine about a year ago so I'm pretty sure that I have the TD version. Another question, what's the difference between Redmi 2 Prime China and Redmi 2 Prime Global Edition? I only need English language so I chose the "normal" Chinese version with Chinese and English language.

Thanks!

Hello, at first which model of phone u have? My is 2014813, so i installed HM2014813 (Android 4.4) and WT86047 (Android 5.1) well. U can find model under battery. W8ing our answer.
PS Are modem working at this moment?

I have a 2014813 as well. And I just tried, modem isn't working. I'm asked about my PIN code for the sim card but there is no connection.

Edit: I fixed the connection problem with a tutorial from miui.com. But apparently I have installed a incorrect version as it shows wt88047 instead of wt86047. Which version from the original miui version do I need to install on my 2014813/wt86047? I don't want to install a xiaomi.eu version

Hi, this issue sounds like something I read on MIUI. I can not post a link, so please search on the MIUI forum for the words "MIUI 6 Global ROM working on Redmi 2 2GB/16GB (2014813)" or see if http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=115492&page=1#pid2307632 works. It's posted by Bilhouse. It appears to be that the 'version', ie. the file is correct, but that you may need to swap the modem. That is why <dakota> rightfully asks about the modem. In short, you need to swap the one modem from one file to the other. I know that my reply is short, but if you can search for the other thread on the MIUI modem, I believe that you will find resolution. It sounds complicated, but I am at noob level and understood it :)

For explanation see the post of Bilhouse on May 22, 2015 and for instructions, please see his post on May 30, 2015.
Please let us know if it works.
