Flashing Miui 8?

Guys, just a quick question, I'm currently on MIUI 7.5.7.0 Stable, do I need to do a full wipe before flashing MIUI 8 Stable? Or can I just flash it over as if I was updating?

My advise is to clean flash, but you can try: just do a backup and then flash miui8.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm using weekly MIUI8 right now, but plan to switch to stable. Will this most likely work?

You will need clean flash to switch from weekly, if you're on the latest, to stable, as it is a downgrade.
