Hi guys,

I have ported the rom for those with locked bootloader. Please tryout and let me know if you have any issues but not likely since I based on xiaomi.eu's original zip file for recovery. Enjoy!

How to upgrade from previous Xiaomi.eu's rom (without losing data):
1. Follow steps 0-5 as below
2. UNCHECK "Preloader" and "Userdata"
3. Continue following steps 7-11 as below


How to flash from any roms different from Xiaomi.eu:
0. BACKUP YOUR DATA FIRST. DO WITH YOUR OWN RISK.
1. Uncompress with Winrar or 7z
2. Install driver from "Drivers" folder (if not done before)
3. Open SP Flash Tool folder, right click on "Flash_tool.exe", choose "Run as administrator"
4. "Download Agent", choose "DA_SWSEC.BIN" from SP Flash Tool Folder
5. "Scatter-file", choose "MT6795_Android_scatter.txt" from Images folder
6. UNCHECK "Preloader"
7. Click on "Download" button
8. Completely turn off your phone, hold and press Vol- (decrease volume) and plugin your cable until the red bar disappear release your press.
9. Wait until 100% complete, unplug the cable.
10. Press the power button in 6-8s to power on, then wait for approx. 10min to complete the initialization.
11. Enjoy!

nothing is working when i plug in the phone in fastboot mode. No moving etc? can can be wrong

the PC can recognize the phone with the Misuite and miflash tool also but with the SP tool how do I know it can recognize it. I accidentially flashed the rom with the china rom, now it is very laggy...

really hope you can help. When I install the mtk driver it does give an error message say not installed. is there any other driver I can install. I used the driver in the folder under windows 10. m running W10 64bit with the latest update.

Sounds like driver conflict. Can you try remove all other drivers (MiFlash....) and reinstall the driver?

Hi Justin,
I am unable to download the files as you have posted the links here.
This is just ridiculous, I get ads popping up windows left, right and center. And then, the files are all only 2.9 MB in size.
Are you not able to post the download link to something without malware and spam?
Such as Dropbox or something else?

Or is it me?

Hi there, for 400MB and 200MB links you have to uncheck the box that say "Download Using Our Secure Download Manager" in order to get the direct links. Or you can use the 1.3GB link for for GDrive.
 
Hey, I tried flashing not only yours, but several Global MIUI 7/8 ROMs for MTK with SP Flash tool, 8.0, 7.5, 7.3 and 6.6, but they all gave me (preloader ticked/unticked) the error: BROM ERROR S_SECURITY_SECURE_USB_DL_IMAGE_SIGN_HEADER_NOT_FOUND (6045) MSP ERROR CODE.
Google revealed nothing. I tried several versions of SP Flash tool and ROMs, but to no avail...

Also, it might be worth mentioning that 1532 SP tools are stuck loading the Scatter file forever, so I have to use different set of SP tools.

Seriously at the end of my rope here. What do? Please help :(

Could be driver/hardware issues. Did you try to uninstall/reinstall the drivers? Maybe try with a different cable/usb port or on another PC/laptop.

Thanks, I will try. What stands out is that I can flash official Fastboot ROMs for MTK (stable china, dev china) without a problem. It is interesting that when flashing official rom, SP flash tools show all the lines with the file addresses (Such as preloader, userdata) full, but the custom ROMs show four at max - (boot, home (?), userdata, preloader).

When uninstalling the drivers, you mean the Lenovo or ADB drivers?

Hi, stock and custom roms are quite different in initialization and installation. It's hard to explain here since it's complicated. So please follow steps in the #1 post otherwise your phone may result in malfunction or brick at worst.

Regarding driver, SP Flash Tool may need a compatible driver to work. Thus it is recommended to remove all other drivers (inc. MiFlash...) then do a fresh install the one along with the custon rom to avoid conflicts
