Resolved Google Assistant swipe gesture not working

In the latest dev rom for star (22.12.19/21) neither the swipe gesture nor knuckle tap on glass to launch Google Assistant is working.

Issue has been tracked down and fixed for the next release.
Meanwhile, if you really need that future:
Settings -> Apps -> Manage apps -> (menu icon) -> Default apps -> Assist & voice input -> Digital assistant app -> set "Google".

And remember to enable "Swipe up from corner for Google Assistant" in Home settings -> System navigation, if you haven't done that yet.

Gesture still doesn't work after selecting default assistant (star). But i can call assistant on "hey Google"

Pay more attention.
I wrote "Default apps -> Assist & voice input -> Digital assistant app".
Not "Default apps -> Voice assistant".
