I just put the MIUI android 4.0 on my phone last night. I needed this upgrade to get access to my work email. In order to access it, I had to install Google Device Policy. Part of the policy placed by my organization is that my device must be encrypted. When I tell the app to encrypt my device, confirm my pin, and confirm that I want to encrypt it then goes to a screen with the green outline of the android robot and then reboots. As soon as it boots up, it tells me I need to encrypt my phone to sync my account.
How can I get it to actually encrypt? Need help ASAP please!
