Google Maps won't open on a new Note 10 Pro

Total noob here - I have a brand new Note 10 Pro and from the outset the Google Maps app won't open. I've rebooted and powered off and on, to no avail. Is this a new issue? I recorded a video here:

It has the 12.5.4 Stable ROM (RKFEUXM).

Run Security app in your phone, clear the cache. Then try uninstalling it and install again. It'll work.

I believe that your mobile is a Redmi Note 10 Pro so I think you have the wrong section to post to because here we are discussing Mi 10 in all its variants. If you open in new TRD in the right section

Thank your for your fast response. Clearing the cache was what was required. Just to let you know, it is not possible to uninstall Google Maps with doing a factory reset on the phone, which would have been pretty drastic...​

Hey Could you please explain how did you solve this problem? I have the same issue with GMaps

I've never had any issues with google maps, always worked good for me.
