Google message doesn't send or receive media (pictures, contacts or google map pin)

I purchased a Chinese version Xiaomi 15 ultra unlocked with google play installed. I can download any apps from google play. But Google message won't receive or send pictures, contacts and google map pins. When I install the same sim card back in my Asus phone it works flawlessly. When I switch from Google Message to Mi Message then it is the same problem. Is it possible to fix this and make it work?
