Google text to speech not working

Hi guys. In miui Rom I cannot hear any output from Google tts engine. Neither from listen an example menu nor from applications like endomondo. In stock android everything was ok. Any feedback??

I was using wiui Rom 3.5.3. After updated to wiui 3.5.17, Google tts is now working. I use tasker to announce caller id while I'm driving. Unfortunately tasker no longer detects incoming calls with this update.
