Hello. First of all I apologise if this has already been discussed but I haven't been able to find all the answears.
As some of us here in Europe know, Redmi Note 9S and 9 Pro most likely have a software bug that unables them to detect Galileo satelites.
What is interesting is that Redmi Note 9 (merlin) and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (excalibur) - which is almost identical to european Pro - support Galileo. What makes matters even weirder is that RN9 Pro Max has the exact same snapdragon 720G chip as the european variants (9S and 9 Pro). This must be a stupid software bug.
I'd like to create a thread purely for discussing this. This way anyone searching for Galileo in the search box will find this thread and, hopefuly, good information.
There's a discussion thread at https://c.mi.com/thread-3124154-7-1.html but there hasn't been any updates since the 22nd
I'm very ignorant about these things but I'd like to ask: are xiaomi.eu ROMs capable of fixing this bug?
