Help Im New In Xiaomi. I've Got A Fake Rom And I Dont Know How To Change Rom.

i bought a xiaomi redmi pro with custom ROM MIUI 8 6.9.8/beta. they said its a fake ROM i need some advise on how to change ROM. its really confusing and i dont know where do i start. just need some advise pls. thanksss.

Well, for start go to http://en.miui.com/unlock/ and apply for unlock permission. just write your own reason and less than a week you will be authorized to unlock your bootloader. after you get permission, log in to your Mi Account in your phone and open the Miunlock on your PC and follow the instruction. after getting the bootloader unlocked you can flash TWRP.
Unlocked bootloader :
Download TWRP.img (TWRP 3.0.2.2

download ADB Fastboot Minimal Files

Hold Vol down and Power but to getinto Fastboot.
Connect the phone to pc ( install drivers before "ADB Device Driver

now unzip ADB Fastboot Minimal files in some folder.copy TWRP.img to that folder, open that folder and hold shift key,right click mouse and choose open CMD here, now follow as below :
Fastboot Devices
(if drivers installed correctly you can see you device id)
Fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img
fastboot reboot
when phone comes up from updater app choose menu and reboot recovery.
now by having TWRP you can flash any ROM you want.

thanks for the answer. but i have another question. xiaomi texted me and said i can now unlock my bootloader. but the problem is everytime i unlock my phone and go to fastboot mode. im always stuck at 50%. i dont know how to fix it. im always stuck at 50% it said cant verify device. pls need some advice. thanks

Have you enabled OEM unlock in Developer Options?
Settings/Additional Settings/ Developer Options/ Mi Unlock Status/Add Account and Device

I think you need to flash a Developer ROM.

The easiest and safest way to flash a developer rom is via mi pcsuite pcsuite.mi.com
update > R. flash. You need starting in recovery mode. You'll get the latest developer version.

Same thing happened to me and I did that: I started the the unlock software then put the usb cable and wait until the drivers installed and then start the process.
