Home Button Without Function

Hello,

I got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm (mido) and updated it to the latest ROM (MIUI 8.6 - 7.7.20).
After that when I press the home button I don't get back to the home screen and also when I press it long it doesn't work as it should (I set it to show the recent apps).
When I press the home button the phone is vibrating as it is supposed to be and even at the lock screen I still can open the flashlight by pressing it long so it is no hardware problem.
I tried to go back to and older ROM but it didn't help me.

Do you have any ideas what I could do to solve this problem?

Did it work on the older Rom? If so, you might want to factory reset to check if the issue persists.
