How Good Is The Backup & Reset App

I have a redmi note 3 pro on 7.2.3.0 Global Stable. Just wanted to know how good is the builtin Backup & Reset app under 'additional settings' .

I have created a local backup and it took a long time to complete and is about 1.5gb in size. If I was to flash a ROM and then use this backup to restore will it restore complete system and installed apps along with all the setting ?

Some settings you maybe need to fix manualy depend which rom you will flash,
but the apps, home screen contacts.... will be the same

If you flash a MIUI 7 ROM it should work fine. But some settings will have to be redone manually.
All your Google Accounts will need to be recreated manually.

very good but omly for Apps.. the rest like Google play store and mobile settings like buttons, ring tones needs to be set up again..
