How To Fix 2-step Verification In 7.9.21

clean install from china dev 7.9.21 to xiaomi.eu 7.9.21
but never pass 2-step verification
the phone receive sms, but google cannot read it and not able to input manual like WA or LINE
after disabling 2 step, i can login to gmail and sync is normal
but if i turn 2 step verification on again, same thing happen
no problem on operator side because i receive sms
but google play service won't read it.

any idea to fix this?
already check all permission but still no luck
check for update in playstore and nothing to update

any help or info will be great

Had similar problem on MS account. The fix for me was to remove the account completely from the device including authenticator and adding again as new account. Try to remove all info related to google account, reboot, add it again and see if this helps

Did you try to clear play services and store data after removing the account?

Yes. After cannot login i tried everythings. Including clearing dalvik and cache from TWRP but still no luck.
Maybe just not my day

Well, strange things happen sometimes. If you choose to do so, the next step would be clean flash or factory reset, backup before doing so

Changing my two step from sms to phone call
The last version (maybe 7.10?) before this friday still the same. Cannot read sms.

Yes. After switching to phone everything (2 step) is ok and work

I don't have any problems on certificate
