How to identify Chinese/Global hardware

If I'm buying a Xiaomi 14 from a vendor, how can I quickly check if it is the Chinese or the Global hardware version? Which would be the fastest way to make sure?

Assuming the Rom hasn't been altered, if I switch on the phone, do I notice it directly on the setup / language selection screen?
And if it has been altered, how could I check?

You can find it on the packaging and also by the certification mark on the device.

So only the Global version has the CE sign?
And the Chinese packaging doesn't show a list of all the global languages?
