None. No one made one. If you have troubles flashing, use the update-binary from previous Weekly ROM and import it to latest ROM.

It is all confusing to me as I don't understand much about flashing or twrp or anything really lol

I'm curious how do I solve this issue? I thought this issue happened because I flashed to the newest rom.. If not then how do I update the twrp version? Or what do I need to do?

Well, compatibility is worth noting. And worth noting it's not my thread. I wish there was a disclaimer about TWRP - like mentioning which works best. Sorry if I missed it, and I do understand weekly = not perfect.

You expect us to predict certain old TWRP incompatibility with Android 11 binaries? How, with witchcraft?

By testing which is the done thing in the software world. Or, yknow, mention the TWRP requirements in the release notes - just ideas. Anything really. That's "how".

I thank you for this ROM and I am using it. But this thread existed before me and it has other users mentioning being worried about "bricking" their phones - that's not great; s**t happens - it all turned out well for me - but it was a lesson for me, and I hope it was a lesson for others.

If I made a mistake it was being too comfortable with the weeklies and lax - you can see that as a compliment, or you can attack me for it, both valid, but really it isn't so complex. Some users, a minority sure but more than just me, found out the hard way that there was an incompatibility.

Thanks again, and threads like this might indicate hands need held a bit better. I mean, you still have people asking HOW you fix it. The information is here, folks, and I did need to buy a USBC adapter, but this great community at least came up with a fix.

- You update TWRP with fastboot (Poney linked it at the top of this page), the command is (presuming Windows) in cmd with admin with phone in fastboot mode "fastboot flash recovery nameoftwrp.zip"
- Download previous ROM also linked on first page (you can update it later and it'll work cause TWRP is newer) and stick on a USB drive
- The most annoying step - TWRP lets you "Mount" USB OTG - so you need a memory stick with the ROM on, connected to the phone via USB. Not cabled up to a computer, actual USB storage (memstick)
- Then you "flash" ("install ZIP" option) this image within TWRP, then done (you'll wait 10 mins ish for first boot tho, don't panic

Have you tried this? It sounds like you're thinking it's a different issue, but this does work. It's.. not bad at all, tbh. Straightforward, though I'm assuming you know fastboot basics I guess to get this far!

Oh sure, no problem, if I get myself a Mi 10 Ultra (not happening) I'll do some testing. Easy.

I think I understood all of it.. I think it is my fault to begin with yes? I mean having old twrp and all. I did update my twrp to TWRP-3.4.2B-1208-XIAOMI10ULTRA-CN-wzsx150-fastboot.zip

Now twrp is made for mi10 ultra not mi10 pro.
I have two questions here and sorry if I sound stupid lmao
Must I install this update with usb stick?
Future updates will follow the same method? I mean installing via USB stick? No longer can I just download the rom and install via twrp normally?

If you have a Mi 10 Pro, install a "Mi 10 Pro" TWRP (when possible).

I have a question.. If I buy 265gb flash drive will it work? Or must it be 8gb.? I can not find 8gb anywhere.. Nobody sells it anymore lmao.
The smallest is 128gb.. But 128 and 265 price almost the same.

I am still hanging on to the 21.4.28. Has anybody updated successfully to the newest weekly using the new TWRP?

OK. Update to 21.5.20 via the new TWRP (dirty flash) did work for me. THX.
