How To Restore Backup From Pc

I have upgraded my phone from 8.1.6.0 to 8.5.2.0 stable.

All the apps, messages, contacts have disappeared.

I had done a backup before the upgrade which I saved on the PC.

How can I restore that backup?

I finally figured it out.

It is a simple process:

1. Settings -> Additional Settings -> Backup & reset -> Local backups -> Back up -> Back up
2. That will create on the SD card a folder MIUI/backup/AllBackup containing the backup
3. Copying the backup from the PC into that folder
4. Settings -> Additional Settings -> Backup & reset -> Local backups
5. Tapping on that backup file
6. Restore
