Hello guys, i have a question. I currently have a TeamWin TWRP 3.6.2 installed. I was trying to update it to version 3.7 by SKKK but it gives me an error. Does this mean i can only update to a TeamWin version?
thanks in advance

You didn't write the essentials, which device it is.
If you have a Poco F3 there is a bug in TWRP from TeamWin.

Use TWRP skkk and follow this guide.

Sorry. Yes its a Poco F3. In the mean time i tried to install The TeamWin 3.7 version and it installed without any problems. Is it better to have the SKKK version or does it not matter? thanks for your fast reply.

I think TWRP TeamWin 3.7 can't decrypt the data partition.
I recommend using TWRP skkk which is part of xiaomi.eu ROM.

Hi
My Mi 11 Ultra was bought two mounths ago in TradingShenzhen, with Stable 13.0.13 ROM and twrp already installed. It means that there is no need to install any newer version of TWRP for updating ROM?
I don't know what version of TWRP is installed in my device. How can I get this info?

When you update the ROM, TWRP is also updated. If you don't have a problem with TWRP, you don't need to pay attention to it.

EDIT2: Ok, i managed to "fastboot boot twrp.img" of an old twrp version(3.6.2 with the little guy wolf holding a pumpkin) and then flash that one inside the twrp options. No ideia why i could not do the same to the new version 3.7 SKK twrp...

Uhm because you are trying to flash to a partition that doesn't exist. It literally tells you: "(recovery_a) No such partition".
POCO F3's recovery is embedded in boot partition, hence the correct way of installing it is, like you said, "fasboot boot twrp.img" and then installing it from the menu.

the thing is, when i tried that, it would boot the teamwin version(installed on mobile) and not the skkk version(image on pc)..weird right?

First sincerely thanks to katerpanne's instruction, it worked perfectly!
I`d like to share some personal experiences during the process, so maybe I could also contribute something in this community.
--------------
My device is K30 Pro bought in China. Flashed to MIUI 13 STABLE ROM HMK30Pro.
--------------
Install Tools and Drivers
- install USB drivers & adb and fastboot tools (Windows 10)
- install SDK Platform Tools (Windows 10 & 11 / Mac / Linux)
- install xiaomi drivers (sometimes necessary)
-> a small [howto] if you have driver issues
----------------
by this step, without xiaomi drivers my device couldn't be recognized. I just unzip xiaomi drivers and open miflash_unlock.exe. After I logged in my Mi account, you should find top right an icon like setting menu, in there you can click to install driver. After that Windows directly found my device. PS: I use Windows 11.

-----------------
Download xiaomi.eu recovery rom
- download recovery image for your phone to PC
-> choose stable or weekly like you want or need
--------------------
by this step, make sure you double checked the name of your device, you can find their codename/nickname in the rom list. like K30 Pro is called Lmi/Lmipro, and K30 5G is called picasso. ITS IMPORTANT TO GET THE RIGHT ROM.

----------------------

Now you need a TWRP / OrangeFox for Android 12
- download TWRP for your device from xiaomi.eu
- or TWRP for your device from skkk
- if its a *.zip file then unzipp it
- rename the downloaded TWRP into "twrp.img"
---------------------
by this step, I prefer the first link from xiaomi.eu, you will see different folders with names. IMPORTANT: find the folder with the NAME AS YOUR DEVICE. I failed once then I realized I didn't get the right twrp.img
----------------------

the rest of the process went well, until the last step.
I've installed the ROM via TWRP on my android device. (IMPORTANT: the ROM should be zip file, dont unzip it.) Then i rebooted the device in TWRP. But it went back all the time to TWRP after reboot. What I tried and worked out was:
Probably because its first time to install a EU Rom on it, you should wipe the data.
1, Go to Wipe, then choose Format data (the button on the right), reboot it.
2, Then I went to Wipe, slide the screen to reset everything.
3, reboot it and it didnt go to TWRP again but stucked on MIUI Logo.
4, reboot it manually by pressing power button.
5, Worked, now you are in Europe.

Unfortunately, I made the same mistake and created the image
twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-diting-skkk.img
via fastboot boot twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-diting-skkk.img
installed.

Now my Xiaomi 12T Pro (Installed xiaomi.eu_multi_DITING_V13.0.7.0.SLFCNXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip) is running in FASTBOOT loop.
Currently there are no images available for download at https://dl.akr-developers.com/?dir=skkk/TWRP/A12/.

When I ditting the files for my smartphone
[BOOT]3.6.2_12-RedmiK50Ultra_v6.3_A12-diting-skkk_0868fc7f.zip
[BOOT]3.6.2_12-RedmiK50Ultra_v6.2_A12-diting-skkk_062ba6dc.zip
get and unzip the ZIPs, what command I need to run to finally boot in TWRP, then into the system to recover my data?

Unfortunately the command works
fastboot flash recovery_ab twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-diting-skkk.img
as shown in the picture, does not work.

Please help me!

Many thanks
Tenker

EDIT:
Now I have also tried the two TWRP via
fastboot.exe flash recovery twrp-3.6.2_A12-diting-skkk.img
oder
fastboot.exe flash recovery twrp-3.7.0_12-v6.5_A12-diting-skkk.img
fastboot.exe reboot recovery
to install them.
It also worked, but I can not get out of the FASTBOOT.

Judging by the size of twrp.img, you're supposed to flash it to the recovery partition.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery_ab twrp.img
fastboot reboot recovery
