I Bricked My MI2 {HELP}

Hi guys.

I was working on a dock for my Mi2 and accidentaly solders + to - and - to + on the micro usb.

Now the phone won't give me any sight of life.
I'm afraid that i've burned the microcontroller responcible for the charging....

Help anyone??? Where can I buy this king of a controller if it is possible???

So... you've burnt the battery charging IC but not the rest of the phone? I mean, the phone works but you can't charge it or it simply doesn't work?

Even doing that some internal chips should fail preventing that damage.

Pop the battery, wait 2m, plug battery, plug ac power, turn on. Hope for best.

Hi.

Well with a little patience and 1 hour with charger in and no responce its back to life.
I'll upload the docks pictures later, looks nice and practical!!

Um, I think you're pretty much ****ed. Are you sure your soldering job isn't shorting out? Anyways, it's not a very practical dock if it burns your charging IC
