I read that the poco f2 pro aka redmi k30 pro will get android 12 but there is no official twrp support so probably there won't be a compatible version. What can we do in that case?
We'll need mi flash tool? Will we lose any data?Xiaomi.eu will release "fastboot" ROMs until a release of a working custom recovery with Android 12 (for this device).

No, you don't install "fastboot" ROMs by Xiaomi.eu with Mi Flash tool but by running a script file (".bat" for Windows / ".sh" for Linux & MacOS).
You will not lose your data, you can update your device with a "fastboot" ROM (by using the "update" script file).
