I am very, very, interested in MIUI for my LG Optimus S(CDMA). Is this possible or am I kidding myself? Can anyone give me some advice?

But it looks like you've already found it. If I were you I would direct all questions to that thread. This section is for more general questions regarding MIUI, not porting questions. That's why there is a section for porting help/questions :-D
