Incompatible Apps!

So im in the UK and have found that some apps are incompatible or just do not work on Mipad.

4OD - App installs but can't stream any content
Tinder - Not even found in the the play store, if you manually visit page say 'incompatible'
Archos Video Player - Crashes on startup

Does anyone know if this is a tegra K1 issue as its a new chipset or a problem with MIUI itself? Will these apps ever work?

Google the apps install them from other places than the play store, I've done it with strava c4 etc only way around it

Yeah thing is that some apps just dont even run even run after install, I loaded the archos player apk and it crashes on startup. Don't get why all these well known apps don't work or are shown as incompatible. Instagram is incompatible too apparently. Its also annoying as you can't auto update if you sideload APK's.

I like my mum's mipad and was considering buying but I think i'm gonna give it a miss, too many issues as usual with xiaomi products. Wanted to save cash but will just get a nexus 9 I think.
