Hi everyone, I made a request to unlock bootloader. I wanted to know a link that tells me how to proceed for the installation and especially which wipe to do in recovery.

You don't need a request. Download the Mi Unlock tool (from the website or Google it). Then open Developer Settings (on your phone) > Mi Unlock status and connect the device to your Mi Account. You can't do this on WiFi, only with a data connection. After it completes, log into Mi Unlock (execute miflash_unlock.exe) on PC with the Mi Account you use with your phone. Accept all warnings (they're mostly false information) and follow the instructions. It then shows an error and you need to wait the specified time. Repeat from the "unlock.exe" step. Easy as fk.
The ROM installing guide (with unlocked BL) is in the Stable ROMs or ROM Downloads section. You can find the fastboot binary in the Mi Unlock directory.

Sorry for piggybacking this question.
I am newbie to this phone and, while I have tried to do all this in the past, never went over the parlance understanding.
My objective is to be able to do nandroid backups, so I understand that I need to get TWRP working on the phone. And for that, I need to unlock the bootloader.
I have searched here and there for how to do the unlocking, and found
A)
I was sent to:

I registered and account but was unable to pass the page after login - pure chinese, and google translate did not provide any translation...
so, deadend
B)
I was sent to:

Instructions are
- download http://miuirom.xiaomi.com/rom/u1106245679/3.5.1108.44/miflash_unlock-en-3.5.1108.44.zip to pc
- Shut down your phone manually, and hold Volume down key and Power button to enter Fastboot mode;
- Step 3. Connect your phone to PC using USB cable and click "Unlock".

Perhaps I did not understand well, but looks that the phone includes a way to unlock the bootloader. But the message would intructions that I did not undertstand and required to make a factory reset (?!)
So, I need help, please!
My current ROM is the one it come with the phone (or whatever was OTA updated): 11.0.3 PGGEUXM
QUESTIONS?
1- To unlock the bootloader, should I
- register mi account (done)
- set up mi account in the phone (done)
- donwload http://miuirom.xiaomi.com/rom/u1106245679/3.5.1108.44/miflash_unlock-en-3.5.1108.44.zip
- Shut down your phone manually, and hold Volume down key and Power button to enter Fastboot mode;
- Connect your phone to PC using USB cable and click "Unlock"
2 - Would this delete phone contents? Is this implying a factory reset?
3 - Unlocking must be done before changing the ROM? Do I need to be in an specific ROM to do the unlocking?
4 - unlocking has any degree of bricking risk?
