Installing Twrp

I have Unlocked the bootloader of my Redmi Note 4 SD and all the apps are working as before .
Now I would like to Install TWRP ONLY and Not Rooting. If I do it... Will the Banking apps like Barclays
still be working ? Could anybody tell me?
