Is the bootloader unlock for Xiaomi 15 doable?

I am about to buy new Xiaomi 15 Global but unlocking bootloader is must have for me as I want to install Xiaomi.eu.

My question is - is it doable to do bootloader unlock these days? Xiaomi has made process much difficult so that is why I am asking.

So far I read on reddit and on internet that there are many people trying to unlock it in legit way (through community quota) for months (Xiaomi 14 and all other phones that comes with HyperOS) - with no success by now. Even some workarounds do not work.

Then I have seen this page where we can buy unlocking of the Xiaomi 15 device for 160 USD and letting some folk to remotelly connect to computer where phone is connected. That is crazy.

Select propher region for your phone, install xiaomi Mi Community app, apply unlock via app and phone unlock booatloder dev option.. make quiz and unlock (i had at same day)

Yeah that is my concern. I dont want to buy Xiaomi 15 and then spend months trying to unlock it... due to quota limit or account error message or something

this message is something normal, I unlocked two devices with hyperos on different Xiaomi account. generally, for me it looked like this, first I set the bootloader unlocking in the developer options, then through the Xiaomi community application I applied, clicked to unlock, an error appeared that I had reached the limit and had to wait 3 days, but after three days if I returned to the application it worked.

Did you have those MIUI accounts older than 30 days?

Also did you have already assigned some other device to that accounts where you unblocked bootloader earlier?

xiaomi global account more tha 2900 days Yes, i did unlock before: xiaomi 14t pro (global), xiaomi 13t (global), xiaomi mi 11 (china), redmi 20t(china), xiaomi 9t (global) - on the same mi account... And i unlocked one mtk-devices with exploit for older mtk with this my account (now more than 2900 days old)

And i unclocked with other account xiaomi 15 pro (china) via my china friend last year - but on this year, he told me it is not possible to unlock china device.. He did it legally way..

When was the last time you did it? Was it in 2025 with Xiaomi 14T?

I want to understand if it is worth trying now as of Mar 2025.

IMPORTANT because I remembered something about unlocking the bootloader on the GLOBAL hyperros version -> applying to the community always via 3g/lte/5g - not via wifi, because then it told me that I should apply in a few days

How can you do this? I thought you have to apply from the device you are about to unlock bootloader on? Or am I missing something?

Unfortunetly I have same issue. Today I received my Xiaomi 15 Global and when I try to request for aprove via community app I receive information "quota limit reached"

I even tried exactly around 1min after midnight china time. :/

That is strange. That screenshot is from community app that run on phone that I unlocked many years back (at the time when community app was not needed at all, there was MIUI instead of HyperOS and Xiaomi was normal company).
After that in summer 2024 I went through grant process on different device (tablet) through community app. That is why I have granted unlock access.

No other device was unlock since through my account.

Does that mean it will work on new Xiaomi phone?

Quick question - I have this Xiaomi tablet with HyperOS on it and with still locked bootloader. Is it possible to verify on it somehow if the access to unlock is still valid on my account without loosing 1 try for unlocking bootloader?
