Issue with Camera

Just downloaded the MOST recent update for the Evo 4G so far as an overall rom it is table and goo for typical everyday usage BUT one thing i noticed is that the flash on the camera DOES NOT wrk and also there seems to be a force close issue with it as well after the camera has taken a picture. is this something that is fixable or am i just stuck with this problem because its a MIUI camera and not the stock EVO camera ? some feed back would be LOVELY
