Google has strengthened Play Integrity* protection and our workaround is no longer effective. You can just accept it and use another payment method (like Curve Pay), try using complex root hacks (example) at your own responsibility, or return to an official ROM with the bootloader locked...

You can flash any of the stock firmware suitable for your device, with the limitation if your device is designated for Chinese market ONLY.
A. If you have Chinese device you can flash ONLY a Chinese stock firmware.
B. If your device is Global device you can flash ANY of stock firmware available.

Since Google Wallet no longer wants users of smartphones with a xiaomi.eu ROM, I have now switched to Curve Pay on my Mi 11 Ultra.

I used it to pay at the supermarket for the first time today, and it worked perfectly. I live in Germany. I'm curious to see how it works out. So far, it seems to be a serious alternative to GPay.

Google is a real pain.
