If you install recovery version of ROM 11.0.5, it works well. The authors have removed the poor fastboot version from the offer.
You have to install TWRP, instructins here in 1st post https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...i-note-9-pro-joyeuse.56896/page-2#post-556496

Now that we have a working TWRP, there is no reason to develop a fastboot version. Therefore, I think the next ROM versions will be for Recovery only.
