Hello!

This is just an information posting for the latest xiaomi.eu Stable Custom ROM for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s (Global Version):
If it is in public interest, please feel free to pin this posting on the first page of this subforum.

The two latest STABLE xiaomi.eu Custom ROMs for Curtana are:
(Note: the version identifiers starting with "R" (like RJWMIXM) are based on Android 11, the ones starting with "Q" are based on Android 10)

V12.5.1.0 (based on Android 11) from 2021-09-25

I am also desperately waiting for a newer Android 11 version for this device. The actual ROM feels more like a beta than a stable release.

I have a question. I'm using xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.6.0.QJWMIXM_v12-10.zip.

The font for the time is different from the one used in Global ROM. I have root access, what should I edit to go back to the global ROM font?

The black pic is EU ROM. Grey is Global ROM. Notice how the Global ROM is a little bolder.

FYI the same exact magisk module was used to mask the font here.

Hello,

I don't know if this option is available in Android 10 ROMs by Xiaomi.eu => Try to enable "System-wide variable font" option in:
Settings => Wallpaper & personalization => Fonts

Then reboot your device.

I am presently using this xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.1.0.RJWMIXM_v12-11.zip
Whereas there's another latest upload which is based on Android 10. How can I install the lastest upload without a format? Thanks

You're right... The last update for Android 11 is too messy
My phone will often goes blank, kind of freeze,then lock device, in the process, it sometimes terminates running app, another challenge is my Yowhatsapp, I keep getting messages while my own messages would refused to be sent until I restart my phone or forced stop the Yowhatsapp (NB: I've been using Yowhatsapp on previous version without such issues)
I can't afford to format the phone right now as it is the only device on me

Screenshot on your phone seems to be clearer
Reverse is the case with mine

I do not have that setting.
 
V 12.0.2 (android 11) is released for curtana. What is your Feedback? Is possible dirty flash from v12.0.6? Do you know if twrp 3.4.1b-0530 will work with dirty flash to v12.0.2 (android 10 to 11)? Thank you

I updated today from 12.0.1 (Android11) and hope this Version is more stable.

Now I am on MIUI 12.2

Android Security update is 1.4.2021

A10 version is the most stable, the A11 is very "slow" and has a lot of stuttering even while lowering the new control center, it lags a bit and doesn't feel smooth, the A10 version on the other side, is very smooth.
