launcher force close after 1.7.29 latest update

My launcher is force closing after the latest update. I have a HTC G2. Not sure what to do. I flashed an older update just so I could use my phone by now android.process.acore is force closing. Please help -_-

Having a similar issue, also with the G2. Not every time but a lot. One app force closed repeatedly, it popped up every second. Had to power off the phone. Browser does it as well as a number of apps. Only began recently. Phone keeps lagging too. Getting annoying... never had any issues with force closing anything or any lags until maybe the last week or two...figured I should post here instead of a new thread since it's a similar issue with the same phone...
