Lavender miui 12 otg problem

I tried to connect a flash drive using otg converter but my phone doesn't recognize it at the same time if i used this otg convertor on my laptop using the usb-c port the converter is working just fine.
Is there is any fix for this problem??

Having the same issue on my Redmi Note 7 after flashing (with full wipe) the latest MIUI12 update 20.7.2.
Any help to fix this?

Face that issue second time, but on xiaomi.eu, first time was on latest MiRoom rom 20.7.9. Otg just didn't work no matter what even if you did a clean install. Fix for that problem was just a reinstalling the same version of rom again without any wipes. Hope this will help someone.
