New LG Optimus 2x SMS discharging battery

I am using MIUI Rom over LG Optimus 2x (India)
Android version 2.3.7
baseband version 1035.21_20110725
kernal version 2.6.32.45-cyanogenmodrmcc@giskard #1
MIUI Version 2.4.20.
The problem is that When there is Unread SMS on my phone, the battery drains up faster.
Last night it was 95% at 11:45pm, and at morning it was 37% at 8:30 am.
i.e. in just 9 hours it drained so much but normally in 9 hours it drains hardly 15-18% so kindly provide solution.

install betterbatterystats from xda and post log after 1 charge cycle, and we'll find the culprit
