Hi there,
I have a global nuwa Xiaomi Pro 13 - which I was using with Xiaomi EU since day one - for several days I wanted to keep call recording but also get the bootloader locked.
Followed the procedure from this post: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/how-to-install-stock-rom.74017/#post-734380 by gogocar62 - respect for all the work.
I have global nuwa - model 2210132G - also checked the site - verify your purchase and by entering IMEI It says: Congratulations! You can be assured the phone you have purchased is the official international version.
1. confirmed global version
2. Downloaded latest - nuwa_tw_global_images_OS2.0.201.0.VMBTWXM_20250917.0000.00_15.0_tw_77847831b0.tgz
3. Installed and started - all working, several reboots.
4. Run In fastbook and - oem lock - OKAY finished
After that I got a message on the phone: you phone has been destroyed or something -> reboot
Holding Power+Volume down - goes to fastboot
Holding Power+volume up - goes to this same screen
No way to access - tried to unlock - oem unlock - got FAILED remote: token Verfiy failed, reboot the device
Tried to unlock with mi unlocker - same mi account - the place where the account Is registered (mi-account) does not match the place where the phone Is sold.
Tried to flash global - nuwa_global_images_OS2.0.203.0.VMBMIXM_20251015.0000.00_15.0_global_da27ef5274.tgz but mi-flash returned not possible In locked state.
So I have checked my mi-account as It was created aboutt 6-7 years ago and never got problem with It but It said - region China and no option to change It.
Got It to a service point - unlocked It somehow and no I am again with unlocked bootloader and TW official rom. Removed this device from my mi-acount with region China and created a new mi-account with region Bulgaria (place of purchase). Now I do not know If the problem was because of the connected mi account with region china or something else.
So In the post Its mentioned, that I can lock If - - Global devices with any Global ROM derivative (MI, EEA, RU, TU, TW, ID, IN, etc.) - so my device with TW rom.
Can someone give any advice or does he has any experience like this - global with TW and locked?
Did I did something wrong the fist time to get the device locked or It was clearly the mi-account region china the Issue? At the service point they told me that only option for a Global device to work with LOCKED bootloader Is to run Global Rom for Its region. If that’s true TW Is not an option.
Would be greatful to any who spends some time on advise or any suggestions on this.
