Lost Root?

I'm running MIUI7 6.2.18 Beta.. and regularly get OTA updates, howsoever time in the last couple of months Ive lost root access.? Do i have to go through the long and painful process to get it back?

A chinnese search bar has appeared at the topm of my notifications screen could this have something to do with it?

No root in the rom, you must flash supersu

Cheers, but does this mean i have to root after every weekly update?

Yes you need to reboot after each update. The process is easy if you flash updates from TWRP, you flash supersu after the update.

I have the same problem with mi MI4C. I never get root before and now i cant use EU ROM. Can someone help me?
