New lots of bugs with miui 12 on the note 8

randomly crashes, or wont log in past lock screen. the drawer also quit working and just pulls down a blurry square at times. constantly reboots. it's a fresh install, formatted everything except vendor and system partitions, and did a factory reset

as a followup, I removed my 400gb sandisk microsd and the reboots quit happening, so it seems after it finishes scanning the sd on boot, it crashes

I see none of those issues, granted I am not using the app drawer. Just did an installation as per the instructions, already on my third weekly. I am using a 64GB memory card.
