MD5 checksum error

Why is it that whenever I try to do a nand backup, I always get an "md5 checksum generation"error? I would like to bup before installing Andy's MIUIv4, but would like a nand beforehand

What version of clockworkmod? You up to date on that? That was a bug on the early clockworks.

I have the latest installed, and i just tried re-flashing it to see if it would help, but that was a no go

I have the very same problem... I heard it's a kernel issue... nothing to do with the clockworkmod recovery version you have.... and it drives me mad!
Any solution?
