Messenging app doesn't update messages.

Every time I get a message and select it from the notification menu, it only brings me to the thread, without the latest messages. I have to select clear from the notification menu to get it to appear, or go back to the conversation selection menu and select the thread. I tested it, and its not my applied theme that's the issue. Any one else with this problem? I'm on 1.4.1 on a Tmobile G2/HTC Desire Z.

Known issue, instead of pressing the home button to exit the sms app next time, use the back button to back out of it
