After a data wipe updating to the latest weekly, google messages RCS chat activation is stuck at "trying to verify your number", i already granted all permissions including "phone id", the app lets me insert the phone number to verify but after that nothing happens. I'm waiting since 2 days but yet the chat features are not getting enabled. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, tried switching the default sms app.. nothing seems to work.
