Mi 10 pro update to latest rom

Hello i have my mi 10 pro with miui 12.0.4 and i want to update to latest stable release

I have uptdated my twrp to 1206

And i want to know if i can simply flash by recovery with wipe date and cach or i need to save my data or anythings first ?

Hello, if you are on 12.0.4.0 xiaomi.eu Stable ROM then you can install the latest xiaomi.eu Stable ROM version WITHOUT any "wipe" in TWRP.

It's always advised to save your data before installing a new ROM update.

I don't know if nandroid (TWRP) backup is functional on your device.

Magisk + "Swift Backup" app = Nice backup solution.

Everything is fine im running 12.2.3 and it work good for now i hope batery is better cause with 12.0.4 my batery drain fast 3 hours active screen

upgrading will require format the complete phone, so take
a backup fist then update
I recommend to take TWRP backup also, in case you didn't like A11

U r lucky, i made dirty flash but got bootloop abd solved only after formatting the data

I did not update because of the dual app problems with the mi10 pro and android 11 and miui 12. So downgraded to android 10 with miui 12. So I would like to know Als if the dual all is working OK with android 11 and miui 12.2
