Resolved MI 10 ULTRA camera issues

Hello.
With EU ROM. The camera is worse!
1- it keeps hunting for focus specially the zoom camera
2- picture quality isn't as good as original time
3- green video when using front camera and stabilization
4- hdr10 recording is a huge mess now!
5- picture quality is worse in everyway (details,focus,colors etc)

yes, camera is very bad. original english rom the cam was very good but now its very very bad. no focus, not sharp, colorsare aweful… .
please change it fast!

I also noticed this issue on the latest weekly release. Seems like the post-processing is just worse than on the chinese ROM.

Temporary workaround until the devs have some time to look into this:

You can replace the camera with original stock app and it works perfectly.

I am not rooted and don't wanna root. Is there a solution ?

Assuming you got TWRP installed, which can mount system as r/w, you should be able to use its file manager, or the terminal to achieve the same end.

A flashable zip would basically do the same, personally I just don't have enough experience creating those.

Have no idea how to do that.

In twrp when I get to mount I can select system but with options of disable MTP!! I don't wanna scree anything

TWRP usually asks you at startup, if you want to allow system modifications, which you can then confirm by swiping. Or if you confirmed it once and checked the box to remember this decision, it won't ask you again and just mount it r/w.
That's what I meant.

1) Selfie movie is completely green (not a tint but completely useless and only shows green color.

2) ordinary movie gets a greyish tint. It's bad but at least you can see the person's you have been filming. This problem dissapears is hdr10 is turned off.

Very unfortunate. first time to own a xiaomi phone and give up on EU ROMs

As far as I know, you can workaround the green video issue by disabling image stabilization, in the meantime.

Guys you always listen to the users ... Can you please release the EU rom with the original camera with no mods?
According to our friend here fw85- he already managed to replace the apk and libs manually and it's working perfectly for him ...

First of all, no, don't request something you don't understand.
Second, "he already managed to replace the apk and libs manually and it's working perfectly for him" - no it's not. He confirmed that front camera still produced corrupted videos (green frames). As for quality - this is quite a biased opinion, he provided absolutely no proof that camera quality has improved.
As for us, we managed to find the source of the issue and a tester confirmed that the camera behavior has been solved, so wait for the next release, or just go back to China ROM like you planned.

People are suppose to be helping each other not taking things personally here and last time I checked this is the bugs section where it only purpose is reporting bugs ! Isn't it?

And as I can see another developer asked if it fixes the green tent! Go figure!!! So even my suggestion was on the table for ur team! So don't act as if u know everything and others are ignorats.

And Yes Iam back to China rom for the sh*ty camera quality for now. What's wrong about that? It's a common issue multiple users complained about it .

If it's fixed I will gladly flash the EU rom cuz as I mentioned all these years with xiaomi I always rock the EU rom.

"Loyal"? A loyal user doesn't jump ship whenever a certain issue that takes time to solve occurs. You have no idea what loyalty is, in that case.
