totally agree, the notch for me mean "we dont know how to solve the problem".
it looks like MI8 is last flagship with that "feature", next year flagships will (hopefully) have fingerprint reader integrated under the AMOLED display and no notch, so maybe MI9 next year.... but also the size is much bigger then I want, I am disappointed!

Umm, 1st off you are WRONG.
2nd off... the MIX 2S and Mi 8 HAVE the same camera module. the Mix 2 however is a potato for taking good photos and suffers badly in low light.

the sensor of the camera protrudes out of the housing and I do not like it at all, like many people, and two, that this way is more exposed to scratches, etc. as to notch, I see the cut-off. enlarge the photo.
