New [Mi 9 - Play Store] Download a big App

I must accept every single App that i want download via WLAN. When the app has 10 MB or 500 MB i must accept it every time :S

isnt the same issue. I can download these apps but i must accept it every time, that i download it with WLAN and not Mobile.

I how you understand this, because its german

Hi together,

open google playstore -> settings -> "Bevorzugte Downloadvariante" in english something like "prefered download" (the second entry from above)

There you can chosse -> always ask / only network / only WLAN

Another setting is in the download app -> there go to settings and choose something like "no data limit".

i have the same problem (for example with the game Asphalt 9).
I try only WLAN in PlayStore settings and installed the lastest version of playstore from apkmirror.
The game load to 1,43 GB of 1,71 GB and stop the download

Has anyone tried clearing all data for the Play Store app?

What helped me, I think:

In: Settings/WLAN/"your wifi"

Set toggle "Mobile Hotspots" to off.

I had this problem a while back in Mix1, also only in Play Store.
This fixed it.
It seems Play Store tries to help you save your hotspot data.

But in some other device there was no such toggle, so no guaranty.

It is the same problem, I was getting that too when I chose limited download - I could download, but had to approve each app.

When I chose unlimited, it would just hang.
