Mi Mix Unlock


  • Make a full backup of your current ROM and copy it to your computer to prevent issues (even make a EFS backup!!)
  • Wipe: Dalvik, Cache, Data, System (DO NOT WIPE USERDATA)
are these wipes really necessary?
 
in twrp advance wipe offers dalvik, system, data, internal storage, cache.

what should i wipe?

Yes that's all I wipe except SD card & internal storage.
So:
Dalvik, Cache, Data, System.

And after the flash has finished I wipe Dalvik & Cache then exit to system.

So the bootloader was already unlocked from the shop without needing to use the unlock tool?
I'm curious as I'm looking at getting a Mi Mix myself.

from a retailer from here Romania. it was a good offer with 3 years warranty just before Christmas
 
Everything looks ok with epic rom except that I have the famous screen overlay detected problem. With vendor ROM I had no such problem and is quite annoying to switch off lux and other apps from time to time. Any idea?

In fact i noticed that i cannot save anything on my phone storage. The Save button doesn't work when pressed. Instead, Cancel button works very well. What is wrong here?

I'm not sure about the screen overlay, maybe ask in a new topic here or on the EPIC ROM thread on en.miui.com

When did that start? Right after you flashed the new ROM or after some time?

The KLO Bug reporting is a system app basically used to report bugs when an app you use crashes at some instance.

Take a quick backup first.
You could try booting into TWRP:
1)Go to Advanced & Fix Contexts.
2)Wipe Dalvik & Cache.

This resets the Linux Permissions.

It's possible...exposed can do all sorts of weird & wonderful things.

Maybe there's a way to read the bug report? Google may help you with this.
