Mi Note Pro Screen Gone

Hi

I purchased an xiaomi mi note pro almost 3 months ago and very happy with it but today the screen has gone on me as shown in the attached image. Does anyone know if this is hardware or software issue, ie if I re rom the phone is it likely to fix the issue. I would rather not have to return it to china if it's something I can fix here.

That's what I thought, the supplier has asked me to do factory reset which I have done but made no difference and obviously nothing can be set up as I can't see what I am doing. oh the fun of buying from overseas

getting really peed off, although the suppliers warranty offers a 3 month exchange if faulty they are only offering me a repair or a $35 USD refund which is just 10% of what I paid. Time to contact credit card/paypal maybe to get refund

That is a shame, I had something similar in a Mi3 replacement display which I was fully refunded by AliExpress. I tried again with another supplier and the quality was superb: 5.7" 2015 New Model Xiaomi Mi Note Pro Lcd Display with Touch Glass Digitizer Assembly Replacement white color 2560x1440

The trouble with Xiaomi is of course warranty but parts are so cheap it works out better as normally a fault comes from misuse. I've ordered another screen from these guys so I can let you know how that goes.

Order a display and frame and replace it by yourself. less then 100$. Try at dragon-tt
