MI9 , Ffinger print not working after dirty flashing to 9.12.12 even resting fingerprint not recognising my finger.

The problem improved after reloading the rom.
fingerprints did not work when I first set up. I couldn't add fingerprints.

Can't confirm. Fingerprint scanner is working just fine on my Mi 9. I've been dirty flashing since mid-October builds.

Check your Magisk modules, try to disable all modules and don't flash modifications to the ROM (e.g. kernel, "improvements" etc) to see if the FP works again
