Mi2A,Hongmi and Mi3 have Dirac Sound enhancer. Mi2 has Dolby Mobile technology. Those options are for Dirac.

Yes, but probably it's only a software equalizer, it shouldn't need a particular hardware, it may be ported also to Mi2/Mi2S if it is better than Dolby. Anyway you can also install Viper4Android to improve audio output with more options than Dolby, I installed it on my Mi2S with no issues or conflicts with pre-installed Dolby and it works
