New MIUI 10 8.6.28 - Gallery cant delete screenshots

1. Take one screenshot
2. Open Gallery app
3. Remove the image
4. Clear app from memory and open again
5. The image is back

Mi 6 here, can't replicate the bug, I can delete and even when I clean the memory and open again the picture gone...

That is the old location for screenshots. Now is sdcard/dcim/screenshots. Maybe that's why

Actually it's the other way around, DCIM was the old folder, now it's Pictures.

For me MI6 do the same. Even when deleted old Screenshot directory with file Manager, the screenshots are back somehow, but Mi cloud is turned off...

with Mi Cloud enabled works, so a better description of the bug is "Gallery unable to delete images located in sdcard/pictures/screenshots/ when Mi Cloud is disabled"

Had the same issue - I deleted the folder with the MIUI File Manager, but no luck.

Then I thought "maybe it's access rights related" and I deleted the screenshots folder with the TWRP Recovery File Manager.


Success!!
